BBL began as a mere vision for a nineteen year-old bricklayer by the name of Don Led Duke.  In 1973, he started his own masonry company, which over years of working days, nights and weekends evolved into a general construction company that would eventually become BBL.

Today, Don’s successors have ensured that BBL’s area of work extends from the Northeast through the Midwest, the South, and all along the Eastern Seaboard, employing over 1,500 associates in the divisions that collectively make up the BBL Family of Companies:
